Government-mandated Discounts
Discounts mandated by law, such as Senior Citizen and Person with Disability ("PWD") discounts, may be applied to your orders if you meet the requirements set by applicable laws, rules, or regulations.
General Guidelines for Availment.
ln the availment of the discount:
a. Senior Citizen Discounts
The Senior Citizen must present his/her senior citizen identification card (lD) duty issued byan Office of the Senior Citizens Affair (OSCA) or any government-issued lD, that reflects the name, picture, and date of birth of the Senior Citizen.

Requirement for "Valid" and "Original" ID
The law requires the presentation of a "valid" government-issued ID to avail of the 20% discount and VAT exemption. Establishments are required by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) to keep a record of these transactions for tax deduction purposes
Why a Photo on a Phone is Usually Not Enough
Photo does not count as a verified legal document. Physical IDs have security features that help prevent unauthorized use or identity theft.
The "Digital ID" Exception: As of 2025/2026, the Philippine government recognizes Digital IDs via the eGovPH app (such as the National Senior Citizens ID or ePhilID) as having the same legal weight as a physical card. However, this must be shown through the official app—a regular gallery photo is still not considered a "Digital ID."
No Double Discounts
In the purchase of goods and services which are on promotional discount, persons with disability can avail of the establishment’s offered discount or the 20% discount provided herein, whichever is higher and more favorable. In cases where the person with disability is also a senior citizen entitled to a 20% discount under his/her valid senior citizen identification card (ID), the person with disability shall use either his/her PWD ID Card or Senior Citizen ID card to avail of the 20% discount.
** Exclusions: Not applicable to promotional bundles/items, discounted items, or in conjunction with other offers.

• For senior citizens who are also persons with disabilities (PWD) and entitled to a 20% discount, please use either your OSCA-issued ID card or valid PWD ID card to avail of the discount.

Under Republic Acts 7277, 9442, and 10754, the use of fake PWD cards is punishable by fines and imprisonment.
Please note that using false IDs is prohibited and may result in penalties under the law. Additionally, you may be required to present your ID for validation purposes.
